PLEASE keep your mare in check weight-wise, and give her plenty of exercise. There, I was awarded with a placque that reads: "In deep appreciation for your many hours of instruction and sharing of skills for the advancement of agriculture and equine science."<br /> During the school year, I was honored to be co-teacher for the equine science program in the Denmark High School. Each week, a class full of students came to Moonlit Meadows where I was able to instruct them on the care, safe handling, grooming, feeding and tacking of horses. I explained how the equine industry accounts for over $52 billion in U.S. economy. I hope to see some of those students further their equine education and possibly meet up with them in the horse world someday! <br /> I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time with the students and my co-teacher, Diane Fischl. It was hard to see the class end after a short few months. I look forward to working with the Denmark High School in the future to offer this Equine Science class. <br /> I have also spoken with some home-school parents, and may be able to get a class together for them.
